• 10th of September, Saturday. Monster Book Lunch, St George's Yacht Club, Dun Laoghaire.
• 13th of October. Talk on publishing for Irish PEN. Speaking as part of a panel of four.
• 15th and 16th of October, Saturday and Sunday. Octocon Sci-Fi and Fantasy Convention in the Camden Court Hotel, Dublin.
• 5th November, Saturday. Seminar set up by Society of Children's Books Writers and Illustrators in Emmaus Centre near Swords. The subject of my talk is "Plot & Structure".
